About The Glens Centre

We are a small performing arts centre in County Letirim, promoting social inclusion and health through the arts, as well as providing a space for artistic to develop new work. The centre is a place where performers and audiences can mingle, and where people normally excluded from the arts because of rural isolation can see and hear the best music, theatre and performances available in Ireland today. We occupy a small converted Methodist church that was built in the 1820s and has housed the theatre since 1995. The theatre seats 140, but there is also rehearsal and recording space.
