About The Goalposts League

The Goalposts League is an immersive football league that focuses on community and collaboration, both on and off the pitch, which is driven by the people who play the beautiful game. Our mission is to help create an even playing field for all, to help reduce the drop-off rates within the game, produce more opportunities to play and help create a sustainable pathway for youth to adults to stay involved in the game. Our partners adidas and the league share the same vision that sport has the power to change lives, and we have joined forces to break those longstanding barriers and to create the change that we would like to see. We currently have leagues seven leagues based in East London for women, non-binary and transgender players, and we have the Pro:Direct Super Schools League for school girls in years 7 & 8 with our partners Pro:Direct, adidas, & English Schools FA (ESFA). The league has 58 participating teams and 300 players playing throughout the week from all areas of London, and for us, that is just the start. The league has collaborated with like-minded brands such as INDIVISA & Freestar, and we continuously work closely with the players and teams from the league who are the heartbeat of the grassroots community. From wellness classes to coaching sessions to tournaments and we want to drive the culture forward and provide opportunities and insight to all.
