About The Good Life Farm

The Good Life Farm has a simple purpose: to help children and teenagers who’ve fallen through the gaps and never been given a chance in life. Since 2005, The Good Life Farm has provided animal-based therapy and educational programs to at-risk young people aged between 12 and 17. The Farm provides a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment where our young people can build their self-esteem, social skills, trust and confidence, while learning vocational skills that will help them with their employment prospects. Our 'grassroots' healing program is the only one of its kind in Australia. We work with an internationally-recognised therapeutic model on a sustainable farm with a variety of animals. We play an important role in the lives of the young people who come to us. As we watch them grow, develop and flourish, we see them discover their inner-child for the first time - and that is a truly wonderful thing.
