About The Great Exchange Devens

The Great Exchange is a program of the 501c3 nonprofit Devens EcoEfficiency Center, based in Devens, MA. TGE is the alternative solution for resources that institutions can no longer use internally but would be of good use to other organizations. This nonprofit program preserves the value of office furniture, shelving, office and operating supplies, classroom resources, and creative materials in new or like new condition by facilitating their reuse among hundreds of nonprofits, schools, municipal departments, and small businesses. The more than 900 different types of inventory items include manufacturing by-products with reuse potential and supplies, accessories, furniture, and fixtures no longer needed by establishments that have changed their operations, downsized, or closed their facility. Together, The Great Exchange and its partners prevent waste, drive savings from avoided disposal and decreased purchasing costs, and invest in important community service providers.
