The Great Progression is a project that has many manifestations using the same core name: a new book to be published by HarperCollins, a Substack series of essays, an event series in San Francisco, as well as keynote talks. The company behind this project is Leyden Ventures LLC that founder Peter Leyden uses as the core base for all his creator work as author, writer, speaker and host of events. Leyden has another company that he uses for his strategic foresight advisory work called Reinvent Futures LLC. The Great Progression: 2025 to 2050 will be a new book to be published by HarperCollins, the second biggest book publishers in the world, in January of 2027, the start of the next presidential cycle in the United States. HarperCollins also bought all the global rights to the book for other languages. The book will be written and delivered by the spring of 2026. The Great Progression: 2025 to 2050 currently is a popular series of Substack essays that lays out many of the key themes and big ideas that will be explored more comprehensively and in-depth in the book. That series started in the spring of 2025 and you can read more than a dozen of the original essays and new essays that will come out each month until the book's publication. Leyden also gives frequent keynote talks on The Great Progression: 2025 to 2050 as well.
