About The Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce
The Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit (501(c)(6) organization formed to represent business interests within the communities we serve. Since 1917 the Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce has played a major leadership role in shaping the economic and social growth of the community it serves. Today, more than 220 member businesses and individuals support the Chamber's mission of community commitment. The Chamber provides strong leadership in serving the interest of business, promoting the inter-relationship between business and community, and encouraging business participation with civic and educational organizations and programs within the greater Claremont area. The Chamber strongly promotes the local economy by encouraging Chamber of Commerce members and greater Claremont residents to shop locally. All references provided by the Chamber are in support of Chamber members. The Chamber partners with other civic and community organizations and coordinates several major community events in Claremont including the President's Awards Ceremony, Annual Auction Gala, Fall Festival & Chili Cook-Off.
