The Groves on 41 is located in the gentle hills of unincorporated region of Templeton, in San Luis Obispo, CA. The fall 2011 planting of 3500 Arbequina and 500 Koroneiki trees continues to produce award-winning for extra virgin olive oils. My husband Jerry & I moved to moved to the Central Coast of California after many years of visits and a passionate study of the extra virgin olive oil industry and emerging artisan producers in the region. When we discovered this property we decided that sharing the beautiful grounds by providing a venue for private gatherings at a reasonable price would also be part of our future. The following year our daughter, Jennifer Tallent, tossed her corporate life to the wind to join us and run the weddings and events business as well as help with all aspects of operations on the farm. Together we enjoy everything olive oil and the wonderful lifestyle the Central Coast country living provides. Whether we’re doing cooking demonstrations, inviting tours to our farm or just playing with our food and coming up with new kid-friendly recipes, we invite conversation and always welcome your visit. -Sustainably Farmed- From drip lines for targeted irrigation, to cover crop for adding natural nitrogen soil supplement, from using beneficial insects for pest control, to families of resident barn owls to keep the rodent population in check, The Groves on 41 cares about their environment. -Community Involvement- Active members of the Templeton and Atascadero Chambers of Commerce as well as: SLO County Farm Bureau Central Coast Olive Growers California Women in Agriculture Paso Robles Main Street Association, Olive Festival North County Farmer's Markets FARMStead ED I encourage you to just give us a call, come on by, visit our farm and learn more about the high quality, artisan crafted extra virgin olive oil produced on the Central Coast.
