About The Grumpy Goat
The Grumpy Goat is an award winning independent cheese, beer and spirits shop & cafe-bar located in Reading town centre in Berkshire. Established in 2013 we have built a reputation for stocking some of the best artisan food products. We stock around 50 artisan cheeses from the UK and on the continent, 500 craft beers from local, national and international breweries and an ever growing stock of small batch wines, spirits, cider & mead. Upstairs we have 8 craft beers on tap and a selection of top quality wine and spirits. We love working with small producers and have now stock a range of other foodie delights including locally baked bread, local free range eggs, charcuterie and vegan cheese. The list of products we stock is constantly growing to reflect the current foodie market and meet the expectations of our lovely customers. We now serve grilled cheese sandwiches (12-4pm) and locally roasted Anonymous coffee, as well as cheese and charcuterie boards. We have a recently opened our bar upstairs with 8 beers on draft so you can now sit in and relax with a glass and a small plate. We are a small close-knit staff team who aim high to bring you the best. From delicious products to excellent customer service.
