About The Guild of Energists
The GoE is a not-for-profit learned society devoted to the study of energy work in all its forms. Founded in the United Kingdom in 1998, it was the first organisation established in the world for the study, theory and practice of modern energy. Modern Energy is based on the original work by Silvia Hartmann and is designed to improve the conditions of our living energy bodies. At the heart of Modern Energy lies the Modern Energy Chart (Hartmann 2009) which correlates emotional states with the states of energy body functioning. The subjective version of the Modern Energy Chart is the SUE Scale (Hartmann, 2009). Both scales range from -10 to +10, thereby bringing the missing positive wing of high positive experiences and emotions into play. Modern Energy is neither alternative nor complementary; it is the missing Third Field in the Mind, Body, SPIRIT (aka energy body) triad and addresses the needs of the real, living energy body through logical techniques and methods. The GoE's goal is to raise awareness of the energy body; to teach practical, realistic and reliable methods to improve energy body health and functioning, which ultimately leads to more positive emotions - more happiness. The GoE supports its individual members, practitioners and trainers of Modern Energy to this end.
