About The gUrl Code
The gUrl Code, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2017. Our mission is “To inspire academic excellence of young female students by providing the necessary tools to cultivate Academic Excellence, Personal Development, Service Learning, Social Unity, Financial Affairs and Cultural Enrichment skills through the power of computer coding and STEM participation that will guide them throughout their personal lives and professional careers.” The purpose of The gUrl Code is to positively impact the lives of its membership through creating a supportive network among females, encouraging and assisting with personal and professional computer coding and STEM development, and providing strategies for educational attainment and success throughout the computer coding experience and beyond. The women of The gUrl Code are committed to planning and implementing programs that empower not only themselves, but the community at large. As this organization is built, young women will be empowered personally, academically and socially.
