About The Healing Centered Collective Mental Health Services
At The Healing Centered Collective, we are redefining mental health care by forming a holistic path to healing. Our counseling is grounded in our clients' strengths, cultural context, and the power of community. We envision a world where individuals, couples, and families not only survive but thrive, embracing their unique narratives and unleashing their potential. Come learn to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease, heal from the past, and become the best version of yourself. As African American women, founders Erica Carroll and Ayzha Corbett saw a real need for culturally-informed, holistic mental health support and training. They knew too well that this lack of awareness in traditional therapeutic settings often perpetuates feelings of isolation and dramatically hinders the healing process for people that look like them. The Healing Centered Collective was born at the synergistic intersection of their personal experience and professional expertise. Offering transformative counseling for individuals and couples, consulting and educational services for organizations, and supervision for aspiring counselors—they are leading the way in destigmatizing mental health and empowering diverse communities to do the same. This collective is a safe space where people can feel truly seen, understood, and supported on their mental health journeys. We are committed to breaking down barriers and fostering a community where everyone, regardless of their background, can access empathetic and culturally affirming care in Maryland. Through compassionate, collaborative, healing-centered practices, we aim to be a catalyst for personal and collective transformation, promoting self-discovery, relational resilience and social justice.
