About The Healing Consciousness Foundation
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those at high risk for or diagnosed with breast cancer through holistic healing modalities, education, and lifestyle changes. We provide the funding for services to empower them, and their families, to reduce their risk factors and realize their full healing potential. Our vision is for everyone to understand the essence of healing is within the individual. The Healing Consciousness Foundation (HCF) was founded by nationally recognized breast cancer surgeon Dr. Beth Baughman DuPree in 2006 after the first edition of The Healing Consciousness: A Doctor’s Journey to Healing was released assist patients with their breast cancer diagnosis. Dr. DuPree believes that conventional Western medicine integrated with Eastern modalities of healing helps one achieve the balance they need in order to find healing. HCF provides integrative services that are not always funded by traditional insurance plans. In January 2007 Dr. DuPree brought together community members who shared her vision. The HCF Board of Directors began their mission to provide financial assistance for integrative services such as yoga, nutritional education, fitness, massage, guided imagery, acupuncture, therapeutic touch and other healing therapies essential to overall health and wellness. In 2017 we have expanded our services to include the Verde Valley in Northern Arizona and Sedona, Arizona.
