The Hikers is a multi-stage, long term software project, that aims to create a home on the net for a way of life that has profound roots with its audience. That is, we want to serve hobby hikers and enable them to cultivate their interest in hiking and nature, along side professional guides and companies, whose business goals are clients for their trips. With manufacturers of gear and apparel, we see a space on the net, to merge all elements related to hiking, in a platform build by the same people, who will use it. The Hikers will be a place to declare your interest in this space, build up your profile, but more importantly an internet platform that aims for its users to turn off their computers, get off the internet and go have successfully and well-executed hiking trips, that is remembered for the rest of their life.
