Our two founders have over forty years of combined recruitment experience and deep industry knowledge. We are here to help both clients and candidates reach new heights, whether you’re seeking the right candidate to complete your team or looking to elevate your career. Established by Russell Hibbert and Lee Burton in September 2024 – The culmination of seventeen years of working side-by-side at a previous employer, has led to the creation of a brand-new recruitment agency servicing the UK engineering and manufacturing sectors. Lee has an extensive technical background, having begun his career as an engineer. After completing an apprenticeship, earning a HND in Mechanical Engineering and working as a Quality Engineer for ten years, he transitioned into recruitment. His first-hand experience in engineering allows him to better assess candidate capabilities and understand the technical requirements of our clients. Russell has 23 years in engineering recruitment and previously worked for many years in technical sales in the automotive industry. The result is in an aptitude for quickly understanding the complexities of technical roles and a natural focus on customer satisfaction. Between the two partners, The Hire Place can offer a depth of knowledge and an understanding of service that clients and candidates hope for, and rightly expect.
