About The Housing and Finance Institute
The Housing and Finance Institute (The HFi) works with industry and public sector partners to: increase housing supply; encourage councils and businesses to work together to build more homes; promote new ways of financing and delivering the new homes that the UK needs. Its establishment was announced by the Chancellor in the UK Government Budget in March 2015, following a recommendation in the Elphicke-House Housing Report in January 2015. The Housing & Finance Institute was officially launched by the Housing & Planning Minister in June 2015.
