About The Housing Company
Our Card Reader Housings are injection molded in the US from US sourced Polycarbonate and will make your card reader, intercom station and wireless device installations much easier and more aesthetically pleasing. Our Housings never rust, dent or need painting, making them maintenance free. Non-metallic construction not only makes installation and customization easier, it also does not adversely impact the performance of your RF devices (Proximity and Bluetooth readers, AVI readers and wireless data transmission devices) like those antiquated metal housings do. Our Gooseneck Card Reader Pedestals are available in Powder Coated Steel, Brushed Stainless Steel and Aluminum (milled or powder coated finishes). We use only US Steel and make these Pedestals in Baton Rouge, LA using our own state of the art Madrel Bending machines that produce superior 90 degree "gooseneck" bends. We offer a huge variety of Pedestals, ranging from 36 and 42 inch steel and aluminum goosenecks in black, white or yellow; all the way up to our 94 inch AVI Pedestal (steel). All of our Pedestals are electrostatically cleaned prior to powder coating which results in a superior, longer lasting finish. Our 14 guage US Steel and 11 guage US Aluminum make for a sturdier Pedestal than the thin walled Chinese crap flooding the market. Unlike many successful companies in the US today, The Housing Company founders and owners are still actively involved in the operations of the company.
