THE HUB ON CANAL, INC. is a non profit art center located at 132 CANAL STREET, NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Florida, United States. If you’re in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, a trip to The Hub on Canal lets you bring original art into your life. You will find all types of art for sale and are likely to encounter artists creating and demonstrating in our 24 working studios. It’s a unique art experience. The Hub hosts a full schedule of classes and workshops, plus presents dozens of music and performing arts events year round. Our numbers for 2019 speak volumes: 60 local artists, 24 working studios, 2 exhibition galleries, 18 art exhibition openings, 34 artist talks, 288 artist demonstrations, 98 live music and performing arts events, 5 signature annual events, 91 workshops, 810 classes, 18 art films, 19 community outreach and public art programs, 3265 outreach contacts, and 9237 hours contributed by 75 Hub volunteers. And this year we added free virtual concerts, artist talks and demonstrations available online. We live by our motto: We are Art • Creating • Community.
