About The Imagination Station at Roosevelt Park

The Imagination Station at Roosevelt Park is in the process of becoming a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that faces Michigan Central Station. The completed capital project will have a large space for public art, an area to host functions that will be used for revenue production and a sustainably rehabilitated house that will become the model for sustainable rehabilitation. The home will house an artist in residence and will function as a community center to educate our community and the City of Detroit on issues relating to sustainability, democracy and technology. Community engagement projects will be spearheaded out of this space.
