About the IMS Group
IMS was founded in 1969 by Capt. S.C. Sood and ever since it has been providing a host of services to the Maritime Industry . IMS Ship Management (P) Ltd, the flagship company was formed in 1981 and our current focus is on Crew Management for the Marine and Offshore industry, dredging, project management and consultancy. Over the last 4 decades, IMS has provided quality crew to over 650 cargo vessels , cruise ships and OSVs. We have worked with over 7,000 Indian seafaring professionals. As per a recent survey, every 12th Indian Seafarer has been recruited by IMS. Since 2004, IMS has been providing manpower to Transocean (Ex Global Santa Fe), MODEC and Bumi Armada. IMS owns 3 dredgers and has executed several dredging projects in India in the last decade. Some Clients ( past and present): V.
