About The In(Her)Voice Project

The Power of Girlhood is a leadership development organization founded in 2011 to serve adolescent girls (13-18) in metro Detroit move through the process of girlhood. Its focus is to develop young women psychologically, socially, emotionally, and physically to become engaged and competent thriving citizens throughout their communities. The Board, committee members, and volunteer mentors present activities that include: facilitating small groups, developing a calendar of events for social outings and fundraising, and planning and implementing service-learning initiatives within the community.
