A non profit dedicated to the eradication of child sexual abuse. The Innocence Mission works to create a world where every child’s right to sexual innocence is protected and upheld. OUR VISION The Innocence Mission is a non-profit organization dedicated to the eradication of Child Sexual Abuse in all its forms throughout our society. By fundamentally shifting societal perception and changing the public dialog that surrounds it, we will be able to end the horrific cycle of abuse. We believe that to achieve lasting social changes, we must adopt an aggressive and comprehensive agenda that points to the whole of the crime. Through educational forums, opinion research, community involvement, victim’s advocacy and survivor empowerment, The Innocence Mission will work to raise public awareness, increase rates of reporting and prosecution, and implement prevention strategies around a silent epidemic that affects nearly a quarter of our nation’s children. This is the specific direction of our work: By informing parents and members of our community about prevention, advocating for increased reporting and justice reform, regulating organizational accountability, and working with society’s influencers about the many facets that lead to Child Sexual Abuse and exploitation, The Innocence Mission will create a world where every child’s right to sexual innocence is protected and upheld. The Innocence Mission is committed to helping those who suffered from the abuse and trauma of CSA by aiding them through trauma recovery, rehabilitation and ultimately survivor empowerment. We believe that by giving a voice to Survivors, we will be able to change how this crime is currently looked at and dealt with, which is usually under the secrecy of shame. By ending this, and by allowing their stories to be heard, we give a voice to courage and accountability, justice and empowerment. Our vision is nothing short of fundamental for enduring social change.
