The Inns of Court College of Advocacy (ICCA) was established by the Council of the Inns of Court (COIC). The ICCA is committed to academic and professional excellence for the Bar. Our main functions are to provide education, leadership, guidance and coordination in relation to the pursuit of excellence in advocacy and professional ethics. We achieve this by working closely with the four Inns of Court and Circuits. The organisation is made up of a specialist academic team and a professional operations team who work closely with barristers, judges and colleagues drawn from the Inns, the Circuits, the Bar Council of England and Wales, Specialist Bar Associations, and representative organisations.
