The IAG was created to solve a fundamental problem: there’s no clear, structured pathway from education into the architectural glazing, façades and fenestration sector. No recognised standard. No widely understood career map. We're here to change that. We are a collaboration of industry leaders, educators, and advocates who believe that this sector deserves better visibility, better talent pipelines, and better long-term workforce sustainability. Our Mission To create a linear, industry-backed pathway from education into employment — raising the profile of glazing and façades as careers of choice, not chance. Our first step is building curriculum frameworks with real industry input. The goal? To ensure students leave higher education trained, capable, and ready to contribute from day one. We're connecting directly with colleges, universities, and employers to create entry points, raise awareness, and improve standards — for the good of the whole sector. What We Do Run the IAG Careers Festival — a flagship event connecting students with employers, innovations, and the full range of industry roles. Shape educational programs that reflect real-world needs and skill gaps. Build networks between students, universities, and top employers to make long-term career paths visible and achievable. Why It Matters This is a sector with over 120 roles across 20+ career families — from design and engineering to project management, sustainability, and fabrication. But too often, students and educators don’t know the opportunities even exist. We’re changing that — one curriculum, one event, and one career at a time.
