About The Institute of Hazard Prevention
The Institute of Hazard Prevention is a recognized global provider of process safety training, tools and methodology. The IoHP builds unbiased, expert-led courses designed to help high hazard organizations shape the culture of safety in their organizations, with in-person workshops, training courses and more rooted in practical, real life experience. It creates a regular opportunity for companies to learn from experts who have stood where they stand, network with other industry leaders and share ideas supporting the ongoing need for a “safety-first” mentality in all aspects of the organization. Our instructors are experienced experts in all phases of the IEC 61511 Safety Lifecycle and industry best practices. The Institute is the only safety training facility designed to help these high hazard organizations in industries like oil, energy and chemical manufacturing elevate their understanding and approach to Risk Management and the Safety Lifecycle. The Institute opened in 2012 to bring education on all elements of process safety management to address individuals at all levels within an organization.
