About The Investment Management Group (IMG)

The Investment Management Group (IMG) serves as the largest and most active business club at Lehigh University. We pride ourselves on inclusivity and creativity, offering resources to all undergraduate students interested in breaking into the financial industry. As a club, IMG oversees its very own portfolio, the Rights Portfolio. This is a steppingstone for general members to be exposed to real world investing. As a whole, we allow general members to take long positions in any Russell 1000 Index equities. General meetings are held every Thursday beginning at 4:30 in Room 108 of the new Business Innovation Building (BIB). Weekly meetings are open to anyone with the desire to learn about the capital markets and provide input. A typical meeting will consist of a market update, followed by a buy-pitch, sell-pitch, portfolio update, or an educational session. Portfolio management is facilitated through buy and sell pitches, where a small team will deliver their thesis and supporting information in a collaborative pitch deck presented to all members of the club. After the conclusion of all pitches, any executive will open up a poll which will allow for a final verdict on the investment. Buy OR sell.
