About The Islamic Foundation
The Islamic Foundation (TIF) is a Religious Organization registered in Tanzania under Trusteeship Ordinance (Cap. 375) in 1998 with registration number 1768. The Islamic Foundation is established for humanitarian support and relief activities nationally and internationally. In doing so the Foundation focus on activities such as building and running Schools, Dispensaries, mosques, orphan centers and digging of water wells, relief and humanitarian aid, health caravans and camps etc. The Head Office of The Islamic Foundation is located at Morogoro- Tanzania with branch network all over the country. The Foundation has number of development partners and strategic allies in the world, among others are Dubai Charity Association, Dar el Ber Society, Mohamed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum and Sharjah Charity International. Also, through UAE Embassy in Tanzania the Foundation works with Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Emirate Red Cross and UAE AID in general. The Foundation intend to open the international office in Dubai at IHC, the main purpose of opening this office is grand and sponsorship application from donors, collection of in-kind donations (food and clothes) and fundraising for need and vulnerable people in eight countries of Africa (Angola, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi and Botswana).
