About The John F. Kennedy Family Service Center
The Kennedy Center is a multi-service organization providing Early Education, Elder Care, and Advocacy Services in Charlestown, MA. Our mission is to provide individuals and families in need services, opportunities, and the tools they require to lead productive and fulfilling lives. EARLY EDUCATION: Since the early 1960s, the Kennedy Center has been providing quality early education services in Charlestown. Our school is located at 23 A Moulton Street in Charlestown. This site is licensed to serve 131 preschool children between the ages of 2.9 and 5 years. We offer several models of education and care through our partnerships with Head Start, the Boston Public Schools, and the MA Dept. of Early Education and Care. SENIOR SERVICES: The Kennedy Center has over three decades of experience providing in-home homemaking and personal care services for elders and disabled adults. Our services provides critical supports that elders need to continue living independently in their home or apartment. Many of the seniors receiving these service reside in Charlestown but the agency serves the greater Boston area and surrounding cities. COMMUNITY SERVICES: The CRC is located at 15 Tufts Street in Charlestown and is open to the public Monday through Friday 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The CRC staff provides a wide range of antipoverty and social services on both a scheduled and drop-in basis.
