Matt’s journey began at CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), one of the top 10 CPA firms in the United States, where he honed his skills in employee benefit plan audits, financial statement audits, non-profit tax returns, and both business and individual tax preparation. Partner, Garrett Paul, has been immersed in sales since the age of 18, rising through the ranks of the kitchen equipment industry to help drive and manage $16 million in product sales from 2017 to 2021. After this success, he relocated to Houston, TX, where he partnered with his childhood friend Matt to co-found Matt Jones CPA. In his role, Garrett is passionate about redefining the CPA-client relationship. His mission is to break the mold of the unapproachable, seasonal CPA who only surfaces at tax time.
