About The Journey Center For Healing Arts
The Journey Center for Healing Arts was founded in 2009, and is co-owned by two therapists, Sybil Smith and JJ Knodel. Together, we hope to provide a safe place for healing and a safe place for therapists to do their best work. There is no "THERE" in life, because you are already "HERE." Our goal is to help you see yourself in the most positive light, and help you create the most aware, centered, happy, healthy self possible...one step at a time. Products: Body Work - John works individually with clients, using Massage Therapy, Magnet Therapy, Kabbalistic healing, Cupping, Aroma Therapy, and Reiki. PsychoTherapy - Sybil works with individuals and families to help them move beyond the trauma of your past, into a future that looks hopeful and bright using a unique set of therapy tools: guided imagery, guided meditation, music therapy, therapeutic art and creativity, as well as traditional CBT and solution-focused techniques. We offer a wide range of Life Coaching Programs: The Practice of Peace - Sybil works with women, in small group settings, to help them focus and have a sense of control over their own life, all while finding and living out the peace within. Wellness Coaching - John works 1:1 with clients to create individual healing programs to move you from ill-ness to well-ness. Solace for the Soul Women's Retreats - The next retreat will be March 25-17, 2011 in Abingdon, VA.
