About The Kindship

The Kindship is a local, family-owned collection of neighborhood retail businesses in the Greater Tacoma area with a heart for our community and helping our customers celebrate all of life’s milestones. It all started with Paper Luxe Stationery & Gifts in 2012, our greeting card and gift boutique that brings you unique finds for all occasions including jewelry, party supplies, candles, puzzles, fine writing instruments, art tools, paper goods, creative workshops and so much more. Current locations include Fircrest & Gig Harbor, WA. In 2018, due to the popularity of our children’s selection, we opened The Curious Bear Toy & Book Shop. Our goal is to bring a modern twist to the traditional toy store, offering a wide range of perfectly curated toys, books, and puzzles, for both the young and the young at heart. With the addition of our new Gig Harbor Paper Luxe location in 2021, and the popularity of our baby section at The Curious Bear, we opened an adorable baby shop next door called Little Luxe. Focusing primarily on new baby gift items and clothing, we also feature toys, gifts, and goods for ages 0-5. We've also recently open a creative workshop and event venue in the same complex called The Kindship Studio. And our latest venture, Kindship Cards, is just getting started. It is an online-only business dedicated solely to promoting, celebrating, and supporting the independent greeting card artist. It also aims to be an avenue for us to bring awareness to and generate funds for smaller non-profits that are near and dear to our hearts and those of our artists.
