About The Kivu Project
The Kivu Project was founded in 2022 by Dan Torsiello and Jackie Jaramillo. What started as a small idea after Dan’s first trip to the DRC has now grown into a new non-profit organization. In the US we are currently fundraising for the school build in Mushaki, DRC. We are coordinating with Christian Aganze of socially-conscious travel company Congo Local Guides.
