About The Lakehouse Recovery Center
The Lakehouse Recovery Center is one of Southern California's more affordable, customized substance abuse treatment programs for men and women 18 and over. The Lakehouse is located in Westlake Village on scenic Lake Sherwood. Residents enjoy private rooms in a comfortable setting. The Lakehouse offers a full scope of services for those struggling with drug addiction and/or alcohol abuse. The services offered include: intervention, detox, residential/inpatient treatment, intensive outpatient & aftercare services, case management, family education, nutritional therapy and alumni services. 12-step recovery is encouraged, although we can help clients find alternative ways of healing. Neurofeedback, EMDR, brain-mapping, individual and family therapy are available. Clients participate in yoga, art and music therapy, 12-step meetings, boating, kayaking, bass fishing, swimming, hiking and surfing off the beaches of nearby Malibu. There are movie and game nights, outings and family visitations as appropriate. The friendly and compassionate staff make sure that the care is customized and engaging, even taking care of dietary needs. And The Lakehouse is pet friendly!
