Pre-Professional Training Program - THE Landing’s pre professional training program is designed for students ages 12+ interested in a professional and/or collegiate career in dance. Professional Dance Company - Richmond, Virginia’s newest most innovative professional dance company is currently auditioning dancers for the 2021-2022 season. Our mission is to create and promote one of a kind professional dance productions that redefines the image of dance in Richmond, Virginia and beyond. THE Landing is seeking to build a diverse dance company of male and female dancers who meet the following criteria: Training in Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary styles Between the ages of 19-35 THE Landing will be hiring: Resident Dancers 38-40 week contracts Weekly competitive salaries Visit www.thelandingrva.org for more information and to register for an audition "Flip The Script" Outreach Program - The Landing recognizes the toll this pandemic has taken on our youth and will devote our time, energy, and funds to help our pre-teens and teens find a new sense of purpose and joy during such strange times through “Flipping the Script” and changing the way social media is used throughout this age group, through the art of dance. With the help of local mental health professionals and community volunteers, students will meet twice a month to create healthy, fun, and positive videos and virtual dance challenges that bring attention to the current struggles facing our teens and pre-teens. Our goal is to “Flip the Script” and use various social media platforms to bring positivity and light back into our children’s lives, and turn it into a useful tool rather than a form of constant comparison. Through “Flipping the Script” The Landing, their volunteers, and families hope to build lasting positive relationships that local teens and pre-teens can lean on and feel supported through for years to come.
