About The Leaguers
The Leaguers is a multi-purpose non-profit social services organization providing various services to the community for over 70 Years. We provide Head Start/Early Head Start services for over one thousand, one hundred (1100) 3 to 5 year old children and four hundred (400) infant/toddlers and their families. Other services at The Leaguers include Pregnant Services, Father’s Program, Job and housing referrals and, our newest initiative, the apprenticeship program. Our agency collaborates with many other social service agencies to provide our families with a holistic approach to family wellbeing. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for children and families through diverse educational and cultural programs that foster self-growth, personal development and pride in one’s community. We strongly believe in “Opportunity through Education.”
