In its 50th year, we are now reimagining the school’s future with the goal of becoming a cultural and educational center in Aix-en-Provence that is a valuable resource in the larger world and a responsible member of the “patrimoine” of Aix-en-Provence that gives back to the local community of which it is a part. We plan to preserve and continue the legacy of Leo Marchutz’s educational philosophy and artistic movement through a combination of exhibitions, educational programming, workshops, residencies, research projects, and more. We gather with renewed energy at a unique moment in our collective history and invite our community of artists, friends, and supporters to join us on this path forward for this beloved institution.
