About The Leo Project
The Leo Project is a 501(c)(3) community-based organization driving social change in Laikipia County, Kenya through an integrated model that combines education, healthcare, and community innovation. The Caitlin O’Hara Community Health Clinic provides comprehensive primary care, maternal and child health services, psychiatric and psychosocial support, sexual and reproductive health care, nutrition counseling, HIV testing and counseling, and access to both a pharmacy and diagnostic lab. Our Education Program reaches over 1,000 youth annually, equipping them with life skills, digital and financial literacy, mental health awareness, first-aid, and reproductive health education. The Media Lab builds creative industry skills through hands-on training in media production. Its flagship initiative, Scene + Heard, gives young storytellers a platform to share Kenyan narratives and enter careers in film and entertainment. TLP Co:Work is a vibrant collaboration space in Nanyuki town center offering a working space professionals, as well as programs in robotics, AI, and entrepreneurship, digital tools, and professional development. Responding to community need and a comprehensive needs assessment, TLP is developing a maternity and oncology hospital—a transformative step toward better maternal and cancer care in the region.
