About The Less Than Perfect Leader
Hi I'm Nat - the Less Than Perfect Leader. I’ve had a long leadership career across the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors - from a Minister’s Canberra office to Apple’s Cupertino headquarters. My passion for driving change and bringing out the best in people led me to become an award-winning leader, public speaker, and leadership coach. People often say, ‘wow, you make leadership look easy.’ But in 2020, I hit complete burnout. I had nothing left physically, emotionally, psychologically. Leaders are supposed to have all the answers, right? To ooze charisma. To have it all together. Yet I felt like a complete failure. Then something changed. I noticed that the less I hid my imperfections, the more people gravitated to me. My vulnerability was authentic. My people felt safer. Leadership became more enjoyable. My imperfection was not a weakness - it was my superpower. My breakdown was my breakthrough. I created 'The Less Than Perfect Leader' to help leaders break through obstacles and unlock their imperfect but powerful leadership potential. The best part of my job? Seeing the transformation in leaders. I’d love to work with you (and your people) to achieve the change you seek. As the Less Than Perfect Leader, I offer a range of training, coaching and speaking services - at both the individual and organisational level. I have delivered keynotes and training sessions in over 30 countries. My approach fuses evidence-based research, frameworks, and strategies with empathy, stories, and laughter. I hold a Masters in Management, and qualifications in Economics, Law and Coaching. I am an ACC with the International Coaching Federation, and certified in DISC, EQi, Driving Forces, the Leadership Circle, and Behavioural Elements.
