Verrassende interventies die prikkelen, ons aan het denken zetten over maatschappelijke vraagstukken, ons kennis laten maken met nieuwe ontwikkelingen. Dit past natuurlijk prima bij het wereldburgerschap van onze studenten dat wij als hogeschool belangrijk vinden. Kijk over je eigen grenzen heen, ontmoet mensen met verschillende achtergronden, ga het gesprek aan over complexe vraagstukken en leer voor samen en van elkaar. The Lighthouse organiseert deze activiteiten het liefst samen met studenten, docenten en onderzoekers. Ook organiseren we events met externe partijen. De evenementen van The Lighthouse vinden vooral plaats op en rond het centrale plein van het gebouw aan het Johanna Westerdijkplein. Aan dit plein vind je naast de Aula de Speakers’ Corner, de Innovation Playground en het Lighthouse Café.
