About The Lightning EAM Project
A free and open source project to create the World's fastest Enterprise Asset Management System capable of handling big data while at the same time using a modern user interface accessible from mobile devices. The project was born out of frustration with the current EAM landscape: - Highly restrictive licensing agreements and a lack of credible open source options. - Slow reporting capabilities and inability to handle big data needs. - Outdated technology and a refusal to embrace new technologies to the detriment of performance. - Poor mobile capability. The project has started with a clean piece of paper and has been built from the ground up using the best performing technologies available for large scale enterprise applications. A focus is upon ensuring the project creates not only the best performing EAM system but also the easiest to deploy, use and maintain.
