About The Listening Business
Providing authentic ELT listening materials. These include three levels of exercises, plus comprehensive answer sheets to accompany the BBC Radio 4 News, Monday to Thursday (for institutions in the UK) and exercises, answer sheets and transcripts to accompany the BBC World Business News weekly. I have also written a number of authentic listening teaching books at elementary and intermediate level. I am currently working closely with Andy Cowle of North Star ELT (www.northstarelt.co.uk) who is helping me to market my services and taking over the production and design of my books. The three titles are A Typical Day, A Place I Know Well and My Family. I am currently writing the advanced versions of these 100% unscripted books. I regularly give presentations and teacher training sessions on authentic listening both in the UK and overseas.
