LSNF Canada provides anti-anxiety gift bags to the hospitals that we work with and they’re distributed to every pediatric patient that enters the emergency department. The gift bag alleviates the mental stress that is accompanied by a hospital visit, especially for a child. LSNF is a unique organization because of the emphasis placed on establishing kid-to-kid relationships. Kids in local communities are taught the valuable lesson of service to others and in turn, pack anti-anxiety gift bags and make get-well cards for kids that are battling mental and physical illnesses. We’ve discovered that there is a special connection between kids of all ages that can’t be duplicated.
