About The Long Run Home
The Long Run Home is a return to self through endurance. Founded at the intersection of queerness, neurodivergence, and long-distance running, this work traces the literal and emotional miles it takes to come back to the body, to truth, and to belonging. This is a 50 states marathon project, pursued by KM and Malcolm Jones. Each race is documented not only as an athletic milestone but also as a step toward healing from the harm of growing up in silence, shame, and survival mode. We map recovery in miles. The PROJECT is part endurance chronicle, part memoir in motion, and part act of resistance.
