About The Lotus Club

Who We Are The Lotus Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports Black women experiencing workplace trauma by centering healing, empowerment and the right to exist abundantly unbound by the limitations imposed by systemic inequities and societal expectations. We provide a nurturing, inclusive community where Black women can prioritize wellness and community and overcome trauma to achieve a total state of well-being. Our name and symbol, the lotus flower, represent resilience, transformation and strength. Just as the lotus rises from the mud to bloom in full beauty, Black women rise above adversity and flourish—unshaken, unstoppable and unapologetically powerful. What We Do The Lotus Club provides Black women with the tools, resources and support needed to flourish in all areas of life through curated programs and events. We create transformative experiences centered around wellness, personal development and community engagement. Whether through wellness workshops, networking events or advocacy initiatives, we are committed to uplifting and inspiring every Black woman who becomes part of our community. Why We Exist We exist to create supportive, safe spaces where we can thrive and/or use our voices, skills and talents for betterment in the workplace, at home and in building our communities. The Lotus Club is a beacon of empowerment and solidarity in a world that often overlooks our voices and contributions. Inspired by the resilience of the lotus flower—we create spaces where Black women can rise above challenges and cultivate lives of joy, strength and renewed purpose.
