About The Love Clinic
Welcome to TLC! I am Andrea Tibbitts, a Relationship Therapist with a heart for individuals, couples and families to break painful recurring patterns and live a life they love. The Love Clinic now offers face to face sessions as an independent practitioner at the Health Village Esher, as well as online. Whether it is a cycle of unhappiness within themselves, or a raw spot with others, it is my passion and privilege as Founder of The Love Clinic to help clients 'come home to happy'. I believe that often our relationships with ourselves can get in the way of finding the contentment that we crave. I have a heart as well to offer resources to prevent emotional and relational distress, and facilitate connection. With this intention I am in the process of launching The Love Campaign, to inspire and empower individuals, couples and families to keep connected to those who matter most. The Tender Loving Care ethos underpins all of my endeavours, as not only does kindness create connection, and but it also promotes transformation. Love truly does make the world go round. I am Accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and Certified by the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Individual Therapy (EFIT), Couple Therapy (EFCT) and Family Therapy (EFFT). I am a graduate of The Developmental Model of Couples Therapy Training at The Couples Institute, and I am qualified as both a Life and a Love Breakthrough Coach. I am also trained to Level 2 in The Gottman Method. For those couples where one is leaning in and one is leaning out of the relationship, I offer Discernment Counselling. This involves 1-5 individual sessions with each partner .The goal is to establish whether Couple Therapy could become a helpful way forward. I help family members aged 13+. We may all meet initially as a family but then focus on the distressed dyads. I offer TLC at The Love Clinic, whether online or face to face.
