About The LOYAL Foundation
Anthony Bell established the LOYAL Foundation (Bell Partners charity arm) in 2009 because he felt that Australian charity needed business people to use their entrepreneurial skills to raise much needed money for children's medical equipment and give back to the community. Loyal prides itself on being a pure charity, disbursing 100 cents in every dollar that is received by way of donations to those less fortunate. Each year The Loyal Foundation selects a major beneficiary, with a strong focus on donating funds for the purpose of buying children's medical equipment. Humpty Dumpty has been one of the Loyal Foundation's main patron charities for the last few years and we are proud to be able to support their great work in providing medical equipment for sick children. The Loyal Foundation have managed to raise their profile and that of its beneficiaries through the medium of one of the toughest yacht races known to man, the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. In 2011, Karl Stefanovic, Kurt Fearnley, Anthony Minichiello, Phil Kearns, Phil Waugh and Anthony Bell were on board the Supermaxi 'Investec Loyal' in the iconic race down the Australian coastline and achieved line honours in the 2011 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. Then in 2016, Anthony Bell, as the skipper of 'Perpetual Loyal' once again won the iconic race, beating the race record by almost five hours. Through these achievements and associated events with the campaign, not to mention, the involvement of high profile Australians in the sporting and entertainment fields being on board the boats, the donations raised and the support provided to charities like The Humpty Dumpty Foundation, have made a difference to so many children right across Australia. Since it was established, the Loyal Foundation has raised over $6,000,000 for charity and has purchased over 400 pieces of life saving medical equipment in over 100 different hospitals across Australia.
