The Mater Hospital Sydney is part of St Vincent’s Health Australia, the nation’s largest Catholic not-for-profit health and aged care provider. Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1906, the Mater Hospital Sydney is a world class facility operating over 230 hospital beds, employing more than 1000 staff and drawing on the talents of many generous volunteers.
