About The Mawanda Project
The mission of The Mawanda Project is to help provide food, housing, medical attention, education, and the love of a family to the displaced and discarded children in the town of Iganga, Uganda. Partnered with our In-Country team, our goals are: -To educate the children of Africa in order to produce competitive citizens and promote a sustainable and creative world -Provide food through local farming -Help provide housing for the poor and orphaned children -Provide sanitary and adequate medical attention for the sick and wounded -Sponsor annual celebrations and additional events -Help meet the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of the children in Africa
