After receiving a breast cancer diagnosis in November 2017, I felt that there must be more to healing cancer than the conventional route offered. I decided to make myself my project and research into everything I could find on alternative healing. After leaving all my family and friends behind, I headed off to Spain for solitude and to find a way through that suited me and my beliefs. This was the toughest thing I have ever done - a massive detox which would rival anyone coming of addicted drugs, a change of thought process, a change of diet, reviewing everything about my life, the good, the bad and the ugly. Dealing with negative friends, negative emotions and questions like "do you want to die", "I hope you are at peace with your decision and what it will do to your family". Crazy! I began piecing everything together and contacted a couple of alternative clinics gaining valuable information and direction. I travelled to Hungary to learn about the Gerson Method, I contacted Dr V in America to find out about her healing journey and the most valuable piece of information I received from there was to follow my path, don't be bullied into surgery, chemotherapy, prescription pharmaceuticals. It is now May 2019 and I am well and healthy. I decided to set up two aligned ideas - Clean Up Your Life and The McCourt Method. My intention is that Clean Up Your Life will become a hub for general information on everything I have found to make life easier to search for scientifically proven ways in dealing with chronic illness. And The McCourt Method is my online programme which gives my healing cancer journey over three programmes, each programme broken down into sub groups. This business and my new journey has just begun ....
