As natives of California, we came up with the idea for The MeatStick after an afternoon BBQ with friends. While chatting away and enjoying a game of charades, a set of four expensive new york strips were overcooked, completely killing the mood! We tried multiple wired cooking thermometers, but the problem was still the same, we had to walk over to the thermometer and check on the progress of the meat.
