The Meditation Tree is a "learning" resource center for individuals who wish to study Mindfulness and Meditation techniques and who wish to improve upon their quality of life. Through the practice of finding stillness and calm, individuals will discover the value of awareness....and how they can change their thought patterns to relieve stress, anxiety,and worry....and how those applications of change can lead to better health- physically, emotionally and mentally. Much has been published about the many benefits of MINDFULNESS MEDITATION in the workplace. Research from a Detroit study indicated that after a period of time with a meditation practice, absenteeism fell by 85% and productivity rose by 120%. Frontiers Media generated a study to assess Mindfulness Training and they found that such training was very effective reducing stress and burnout. According a study at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, Mindfulness training enhanced both their staff’s creativity and problem solving skills in the workplace. And finally, A study published in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine showed that 89 employees of the Dow Chemical Company, who practiced meditation reduced stress and became more resilient overall.
